Hi Andrew We're just coming back down to earth after what was, undoubtedly, the most incredible weekend of our lives.
As far as Nightsong goes, I would venture to say that they are easily the best band we have ever heard. Speaking for us (James & Jess), we have been to probably more than 15 weddings in the past three years, and we have never heard a band like this. I've added some anecdotes below from what people said to us throughout and after the weekend. Speaking for me, at the end of the night, I actually thought our mini desserts and late night snacks never came out because I never left the dance floor and didn't see them!! They even pulled out songs that I don't remember seeing on their set list (like ABBA's Gimme!, which was amazing). We desperately wish we could do it all over and party with the band again, but for now, we will anxiously be awaiting the coverage from our videographer so we can relive every moment! I'd also like to note that Bennett was great to work with and so easy going.

I couldn't leave the dance floor and my feet were screaming at me.
Sometimes I thought you just had an epic DJ because the singers sounded so much like the real tracks that you could barely tell the difference.

We can't say enough good things about Nightsong! I have been to 30+ weddings with my (now) husband, and Nightsong brought the absolute best energy to our wedding reception! They learned our first dance song which was by a country singer. I was admittedly worried about it not sounding the same, but they absolutely crushed it and it sounded just like the artist!
I have never seen a dance floor that electric and that packed throughout the entire duration of the reception! Everyone is still talking about it. No one wanted to leave the dance floor, and I didn't even get a chance to see the dessert table that is how much fun we all were having. Even the guests who aren't big dancers were out there living their best lives! The vibes were immaculate.
So many of our guests have told us that Nightsong was the best wedding band they have seen and heard, and we couldn't agree more. Our venue is already exploring how to hire them for future club events. You MUST hire this band you will not regret it!

Nightsong were terrific, kept everyone up and dancing and were as nice as they could be. My daughter, Madeleine, had the most communication with them.
What I really appreciated is that they played what Madeleine wanted. There are lots of bands that like to do their own thing. I thought everything they played was great for dancing and they avoided playing rap, which neither I nor Madeleine appreciate.
All in all, an amazing night. People came up to me all night to say how good they were, and I don't know if it was the acoustics in the venue or an effort on their part, but the loudness level was just right.

Simply Amazing!
Our wedding day was absolutely magical, and Nightsong and Mirna played a huge part in making it so unforgettable. Nightsong was the perfect choice for our wedding band they played an incredible mix of classic and contemporary tunes that kept everyone out on the dance floor all night long. Their energy was contagious, and they truly made the atmosphere feel like a celebration of love and happiness. Best Wedding Band Ever
The review you are about to read is long and full of compliments. If it is too much text, just take my advice and book this band if they are available. You will not regret it.
We found Nightsong when we were looking for bands for our wedding and were not satisfied with the caliber of the local bands. We immediately were enamored by the videos they had on their website and out of the many bands we looked at, we knew we needed to book them. Fortunately they were available. The booking and scheduling process with Nightsong was seamless. The communication with Mike and Bennett (the lead guitarist and coordinating person for Nightsong) was easy, thoughtful, and responses were quick and rapid. The song list provided by Nightsong is extensive (>7 pages with multiple columns per page) and allows for some customizability, though I recommend (as their site suggests) giving the band flexibility for song selection on the wedding day as this will make things more fun.
On a personal note, Nightsong truly made it possible to have two magical experiences to start the wedding reception. My (now) wife and I had already decided to do a choreographed first dance with a custom song MP3 cut, which was incredibly easy for Nightsong to put on for us on the day of the event without any hiccups. Our first dance song was a newer song that we had grown to love over the past year, but was not our first couples song. A mere 12 days before the wedding, I had the idea to sing our first couples song with the band accompanying me (I have a background in music and have been a part of collegiate/graduate a cappella groups for over 11 years). Despite it being only 12 days before the wedding (when the normal cutoff for the group learning a custom song is 8 weeks), Bennett and Nightsong learned that song and allowed me to have the magical experience of serenading my wife on our wedding day with a song that was so special to us. Words do not describe how thankful I am for the hard work of Nightsong to make that dream a reality. Also, for learning a new song less than 2 weeks before the wedding, their performance was seamless and made it very easy for me to follow vocally.
Now, on to their reception performance. My wife and I have been to over a dozen weddings over the years and have never seen a wedding band that is even close to the caliber of Nightsong. Their energy is infectious. The dance floor was always packed and the singers in the band would even come onto the dance floor for certain songs to keep raising the energy level in the room. The song selections were a perfect mix for our crowd, including many contemporary songs as well as classic wedding songs. As a hobbyist musician myself (singing and piano), I particularly appreciated their artistic touches to every song they played. While they are a cover band who plays songs written by other artists, they made each song their own whether that was by adding a multipart harmony to a section of a song, customized breakdown sections where they slowed down the song to halftime, instrument solos, or custom transitions between different songs almost like what you would expect from a DJ but with live music. It is rare to find a band with such zest and talent for music that they can bring both an infectious energy as well as a creative spin on songs we all love. I have never seen so much engagement with a wedding band on the dance floor as I saw with Nightsong at our wedding. I have also never heard as much positive feedback about a wedding band, as over a dozen of our guests without prompting told us that our band (Nightsong) was their favorite part of our wedding and that it was the best wedding band they had ever seen.
In summary, Nightsong is the best wedding band we could ever have hoped for and truly made our special day memorable. They were engaging for all of our guests and also helped me share a special moment with my wife with a custom serenade that was organized less than 2 weeks before the wedding. Mike and Bennett from Nightsong were an absolute pleasure to work with and I thank them greatly for such an amazing experience.
Please do not even think twice about booking this band just book them and you will have a truly magical night.

A million stars!
I got married on May 13, 2023, and Nightsong performed at my reception. I knew they would be good since I was recommended them by a friend, but I was not expecting just HOW good they would be! We had planned to have a little dance break in between cocktail hour and reception, and originally it was supposed to be one song. But, once my guests started dancing to Nightsong, they couldn't stop and we ended up having s 1520 minute dancebreak since everyone was having too much fun. Nightsong knew exactly which songs my guests would enjoy, and kept the dancefloor full the entire evening. Our guests kept commenting to us things like best band I've ever seen, do you know if they travel for gigs?, that was better than a concert, the band was amazing etc. Nightsong has great musical range and performed “Beautiful, Crazy” by Luke Combs for our first dance and “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart as a MotherSon dance. They were spot on. During one of their sets, they played a recently released top hip (by Olivia Rodrigo) all our friends went wild. The dance floor was packed the entire night and people kept mentioning that they wished the wedding went longer. We could really not be happier with how the entire evening went. Huge props to Nightsong. Worth every penny. You can stop searching for bands, Nightsong is the band for your wedding.

Nightsong was incredible! We were lucky enough to have Nightsong play at our wedding last weekend, and they were truly incredible! Our guests have been raving about the band, and I haven’t had any weddingrelated conversations where they go unmentioned. The dance floor was packed from the very beginning to the very end, and even then, you had to drag us away because we didn’t want the night to end! Their performance was unlike anything I’ve experienced, from the vocals to the instruments to the energy they brought everything was perfect. They played off the crowd and knew exactly what songs to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. As an example, my brother, who I’ve literally never seen dance before, did not leave the dance floor one time, which in itself was super special to me. They are just so engaging and create an atmosphere full of love and happiness.
Not only are they insanely talented, but they are great to work with and very accommodating! Bennett was quick to respond to any emails I sent and answer every question I had before the wedding. They put together the most beautiful arrangement for our first dance, and it was everything we wanted and more!
I am not usually one to leave reviews, but I feel so passionately about Nightsong that I could go on and on. If you’re reading this and there’s any question about what band to hire for your wedding I promise that you are guaranteed an amazing time if you choose Nightsong. I would give them ten stars if I could!!

Nightsong is the best band! I saw Nightsong play at a wedding in 2018 and immediately knew I wanted them at my future wedding. After getting engaged in 2020, we immediately hired Nightsong to play at our wedding, which was last weekend, March 12th, 2022. Nightsong was absolutely amazing to work with, especially Bennett. Nightsong was responsive to all our questions and requests, and made our night even more spectacular. Throughout the entire wedding, our guests came up to us telling us how much they loved our band. Nightsong played at our daughters wedding in November 2019 and they were excellent! The dance floor was full the whole night. Everyone was so excited over how good the band was. The songs they performed were amazing from the vocals to the instruments. We had many family and friends ask for their information so that they could book them for their events. From our 2 year old flower girl to the 80 year old grandparents, they stayed on the dance floor the whole time. Thank you so much for making the reception so unforgettable! Well worth the money! You all were fantastic!

NIGHTSONG was fantastic, and of course you can quote me! The LOVE arrangement is a really thoughtful idea, which I will frame for Betsy and Tim. I know Tiffany had a lot to do with coordinating the ‘show flow’ and timeline, and of course I will send her praise separately.
From the moment we arrived at the reception [Decatur House], all things bandrelated seemed to flow like magical clockwork. During cocktail hour, the music was festive but not overwhelming. The introductions and toasts, as assisted by the band, were flawless. The first dance was lovely, just as imagined by the bride and groom. And then the real highlight of the evening came as the band launched into our playlist. They played with a cheerful energy that captured the joy of the occasion, and was contagious. It didn’t take long for the guests to jump to the dance floor, and keep dancing until the very end. Audience engagement was just right—I think a couple of guests thought about trying to join the band because they were having so much fun! NIGHTSONG was terrific in every way, and it will be our pleasure to recommend them.

Keynote was the perfect band for our wedding. From the communication, professionalism, and positivity at the beginning with Josh, to the last minute changes (like us forgetting to submit the mothergroom, fatherdaughter dances until a few days before), to the nonstop perfect show into the evening, we honestly could not have been happier with Keynote and we are certain guests felt the same.
