They put on an AMAZING live show - always up to the minute playing everything from the TOP HITS of today and back through the past 60 years of popular dance hits with ultimate authenticity. You can customize their massive playlist - over 400 spngs to choose from - for your party. This is a SET band and they always perform with horns -- breathing authenticity into classic horn band music while adding a hip twist on contemporary radio hits.
Specializing in giving authentic performances of all genres of music - ranging from contemporary hits of today, Rap, Hip Hop, to rock anthems of the 80's, all the way back to classic soul of the 60's and 70's - The Storytellers Band is fresh and diverse - appealing to all ages.
The players experience as musicians extends well beyond the realm of weddings and corporate events. Members of the Storytellers have performed in concerts, tours, and on recordings with Prince, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, BB King, Gavin DeGraw, Solomon Burke, The Four Tops, Ice T, Maceo Parker, The Spin Doctors, and Ben Folds to name a few. As individuals, we have garnered 2 separate Grammy nominations, a national composition award from BMI (Broadcast Music International) and numerous Jazz composition and performance awards from Downbeat Magazine.

As 10 pieces with 3 singers -- 3 horns plus 4 piece rhythm section, this band can deliver any style of music you desire…keyboardist, bassist and guitarist sing lead and background, so there are TONS of vocals all the time. Also available are 8 and 9 piece options.
