NIGHT VISION was founded in 1996 by Don Faye. Since then, we have performed at numerous weddings, corporate events, special events, and night clubs. We are based in Richmond, Virginia and perform throughout Virginia as well as in Washington, D.C. and North Carolina.
Our six-piece variety band specializes in a wide range of musical styles. We play everything from Big Band Swing to Soul to Contemporary Rock. Our instrumentation includes female and male vocalists, two saxophonists, keyboards, lead and rhythm guitars, drums, congas and other percussion, bass, flute, and clarinet. Each member's love for music and performance makes NIGHT VISION the natural choice for your event.

What type of music do you play?

Why should we hire you over a DJ?
NIGHT VISION has the class and energy of a live band along with the versatility of a DJ. Not only do we play music we also perform as master-of-ceremonies for wedding receptions and any other parties. Our sound and light equipment equals and often surpasses that of any DJ. We have a collection of music on CD too. You can select the CD music you want at your reception and we will play it over our own PA system. So, when the band takes a break, the party keeps going - at no additional cost!
At what volume level do you play?
NIGHT VISION is able to adjust the volume according to the type of mood you want to set for your event. For instance, we will play at soft levels ideal for cocktails and dinner and later at more energetic levels for dancing.
Are you able to appeal to all generations?
Our wide repertoire enables us to appeal to many types of audiences. We'll rock you and swing grandma too!
Will you learn a special song for us?
Couples have often asked us to learn a special song for their first dance. Let us know what yours is!
Can you help us pick a song to dance to with our parents?
Certainly. We have often helped couples choose that special song which conveys just how much their parents mean to them.
Will you travel outside of the Richmond area?
Sure. We have performed throughout Virginia, in Washington, D.C., and in North Carolina.
What type of attire do you wear?
We wear anything from black tie to business casual to casual. It all depends on your event.
