JOHNNY WHITE AND THE ELITE BAND specialize in wedding receptions, conventions, corporate events and all types of reunions. This group is known for their monstrous Motown medleys and their tight Top 40, Carolia Beach, R&B and big band renditions of hits from the golden era of soul to today. They want to insure that there is a little something for all to enjoy.
JOHNNY WHITE AND THE ELITE BAND is the epitome of what music is all about. They Consist of two powerful lead vocalists, JOHNNY WHITE and SHIRL, as well as three soulful female background singers. They combine their singing ability with high energy choreography that will make you become a part of their show. JOHNNY WHITE AND THE ELITE BAND is without a doubt one of the best show and dance bands in the business.
This band has traveled the world over, performing and electrifying audiences everywhere. JOHNNY WHITE's performances include such places as The Iditarod in Anchorage, Alaska, the MGM Grand Casino in Reno, Nevada,The Grand Prix in San Antonio, Texas, Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee, The Sheraton world and Sea World in Florida, The Waldorf Astoria in New York City and The OMNI in Atlanta, Georgia.
Some of JOHNNY WHITE AND THE ELITE BAND's clients include IBM, National Tour Association, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Atlanta Symphony, Duke University, Norfolk Harbour Fest, Northern Telecom and UNC-Chapel Hill.
