Led by the dynamic singer and sax player Jerry Embree, their diverse repertoire includes Jazz, Zydeco, Mardi Gras Music, Cajun Music, Classic Dance Party Favorites, and much, much more.
Add life to your event, let these experienced professional musicians OPEN A WHOLE CAN OF CROWD PLEASIN' on ya! It is not unusual for The Flavors to be asked to play a set of jazz standards for cocktails or dinner, then heat it up with some good time Zydeco, Cajun and Mardi Gras music, and end up playing classic party music that everyone in the crowd knows the words to, dancing and singing along with the band.
FLEXIBILITY The band is available with a variable number of musicians, to meet your entertainment needs and budget. The primary band consists of five members playing saxophone, washboard, guitar, keyboard/accordion, bass, drums, and male vocals. Spice it up by adding our female vocalist, horn section, and / or fiddle and percussion player. Dance Instructors are also optional.
MORE THAN A GREAT BAND We also offer COSTUMED DANCE INSTRUCTORS to demonstrate how to do the zydeco two-step, Cajun two-step, Cajun waltz, jitterbug, swing, and other dance styles, including line dances. They will get you involved by TEACHING YOU how to do these dances. C'est Bon!
When you book The Flavors, your event becomes audience interactive - guests can play the washboard or tambourine, and everybody loves to get in on the second line!
