Biography: InsideOut Band

InsideOut Band is a group of professional musicians from Richmond Va., performing in Virginia, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia for many years.
InsideOut Band’s influences include groups like Chicago, Tower of Power, Blood Sweat and Tears, Earth Wind & Fire, and Kool and the Gang, and also includes artists like Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Luther Vandruss, Prince, and the Time.
Having both a female and male lead singer offers InsideOut the opportunity to play a wider range of material. Additionally, it doesn’t hurt to have two more lead singers who also play instruments. In all, four lead vocalists add to great harmonies as well as lead vocals.
Adding to the vocals is the explosive horn section, playing sectional lines like "Make Me Smile" or Tower of Power’s "Diggin on James Brown." The horn section consists of three horns -- Trumpet, Trombone and Sax -- and gives InsideOut the diversity to excel in numerous different styles.
InsideOut Band’s professionally educated music ability enables them to quickly learn needed songs for special occasions like weddings, Bar Mitzvas, special parties or birthdays -- or even a special song for the bride and the groom or the father daughter dance.
