Biography: Flashback
Flashback has been performing continuously since 1982 for corporate groups, trade associations, conventions, wedding receptions, private parties, country club events, charity fund raisers, award banquets, outdoor festivals, pool parties, class reunions, and just about every kind of event where class and professionalism are desired by clients.
When we recently asked one of our clients why they chose Flashback for their daughter's wedding reception, they replied..."after going to see 4 other bands perform, we chose Flashback because the band is 'spontaneous'; it was evident when we came out to see the band that all of the musicians were having fun!"
Flashback consists of 9 musicians that perform without the use of "sequencing" or pre-taped supplemental music. They are all former professional musicians, and all mostly self-employed in a wide variety of careers with one goal in common - a passion for performing their music with a high degree of professionalism, and to have fun. With a 4 piece horn section and 8 out of 9 members singing lead and backup vocals, Flashback can offer a wide variety of music for your event.
We can perform your favorite kind of music, whether it be oldies, Motown, beach, disco, big band, swing, rock, country or standards. Flashback performs the music you grew up with and like to "sing along to" with high energy and 100% live dance music.
Flashback does not rely on music as their main source of income, thus avoiding "burn out" or being bored while playing at your event. The main focus is to make sure everyone has a good time, whether it involves audience participation on stage, attempting to do requests, or simply a minor detail - Flashback is the right choice.
We use state of the art equipment, including an "EAW" sound system valued in excess of $50,000 to insure a good live sound.
Coordinating the details is NO PROBLEM! Flashback is very attentive to details. In fact, one of the band members just happens to be an electrical contractor, which always helps.
