During the 80's and 90's, East Coast honed its skills playing in nightclubs throughout the tri-state area-from the Hamptons to Hunter Mountain, and developed its reputation as a high energy Party Band. East Coast is uniquely capable in its ability to pump out high-energy Motown, '60's Classic Disco, 80's Reggae, and Current Dance, while delivering nostalgic favorites from Harry Connick, Jr., Nat King Cole, Glenn Miller, George Gershwin, Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra with elegance and sophistication.
Recently East Coast was selected to provide all the music for the wedding of "Mr. & Mrs. New York city" at New York's famed Grand Central Station! The Bride and Groom were married by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, while the ceremony and reception were covered extensively by New York's Fox 5 TV and the syndicated show "American Journal". East Coast has performed at countless charitable fund raising events and dinner dances, recently honoring such notables as Governor George Pataki, Senator Charles Schumer, Mrs. Gil Hodges and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
