Biography: Cruise Control Band
>>VIEW SONGLIST
The Cruise Control Band was founded in 2002 by Erin Cruise, the lead singer and bandleader. Erin moved to the Harrisburg, PA area in 2001, after spending 13 years in NYC as a jingle singer, studio demo singer, and solo artist for RCA Records (which included having her own hit record called "Cold Shower" in 1992). She spent much of her time in NYC as a freelance wedding singer and co-bandleader for a NY based wedding band called SistaGroove.
Cruise Control's drummer, Butch Barber, who played with George Clinton and Funkadelic among others, had his own local band called Five Street before joining forces with Erin to put together a powerful and fun variety band, Cruise Control, to work the eastern region. Joined by Bob Fanus on bass, Jeff Calvin on guitar, Chris Novak on keys and the many talented horn players they use, this band brings the years of experience, professionalism, and musical talent you, as a client, expect and deserve!
