Biography: Chee Weez

Chee-Weez have installed themselves as one of New Orleans' cover band institutions over the last ten years - even becoming the first cover band to sell out the New Orleans House of Blues in 2003! The band was formed by vocalist Kris LaCoste shortly after parting ways with his previous band, Black Diamond. The Chee-Weez originated as a disco band, but now have branched out and evolved to play everything from Three Dog Night to Snoop Dogg. The band is well known for their costumed shows - previous incarnations have included the Blue Man Group, the Blues Brothers, the New Orleans Saints, and Top Gun flight suits. Show 'em some love!
