Biography: The Bellevue Rhythmaires

The Bellevue Rhythmaires are an acoustic/bluegrass band from Richmond, VA that are equally adept at playing bluegrass, rock, country, jazz, and soul music. With a song list of 250 tunes, we can give you any style that you wish, or a custom-tailed set that will perfectly suit your event! Seasoned professionals, several of us have toured with international acts such as Martina McBride, the Jayhawks, and Slaid Cleaves. Special song requests? No problem - we are more than capable of performing them.
Another hallmark is that you can hire us in various combinations of instruments depending on your musical needs and/or budget. The core of the group is the guitarist, and he can be augmented with any number of the following instruments: mandolin, upright bass, fiddle, banjo, and female vocalist.
We are a very compact unit in that we have a small PA system that requires minimal space, so we don't burden our clients with complicated logistical needs or oppressive volume (though our system is loud enough to handle any event). If you desire, we are more that happy to unplug and play the event acoustically, which is often a fun way to connect with the crowd.
