Sam Hill Entertainment was born out of the Charlottesville VA music scene in 1995. Since then we've grown from booking college parties out of a home office to handling the entertainment for over a thousand weddings, corporate functions, concerts and private events every year around the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

From jazz bands at rehearsal dinners to concerts and festivals for thousands of people, Sam Hill Entertainment works with all kinds of musicians for any kind of event. The artists we work with range from rock to reggae, swing to bluegrass, acoustic acts to funk bands, national acts to local coffee shop artists, bands perfect for a black-tie reception at the Ritz to the hottest new acts on the college and club circuit.

We especially love working with clients who aren’t quite sure what kind of music they want. We can present you numerous options and offer our recommendations as to what we think will work for you best considering your taste, budget and the nature of your event so you can make an informed decision.

Unlike most agencies that represent bands, we consider YOU our client, and our job is to get you the best talent available at the lowest price. We will discuss all the details with you up front, make all the arrangements, and go out of our way to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the band you select.

We work with only top-notch talent that we know will knock your socks off. Lots of bands out there are just too cheesy or cliché, too unreliable or unprofessional … we avoid these at all costs! We all love music too much, and any band we would recommend for your event is a band that WE would have play at ours.

Of course, finding the entertainment is only half our job. It is just as important to provide helpful and friendly service (our mothers taught us to say please and thank you), to oversee the details right up until the big day, and to help make booking a band your favorite part of planning your event.
