Biography: Franson & Young

Franson & Young are an acoustic duo consisting of violinist/singer/songwriter Christine Young and guitarist Scott Franson.
Originally classically trained, Christine attended the prestigious Peabody Conservatory before earning a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Maryland. Though rooted in classical technique, Christine is equally at home with blues, folk, jazz, celtic, bluegrass, and rock styles.
Scott plays live all over North Carolina, and produces music at the Ranch Studios on the Outer Banks. The combination of the two produces a laid back acoustic sound that is perfect for any private event.
