The Common Clay Band is a group of seasoned professionals who collectively share almost a century's worth of touring and recording experience. Some of the members have shared the stage or have performed with such artists as: Percy Sledge, Artimus Pyle (former drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd), the Coasters, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels Band, John Popper, Drive-By Truckers, Jackie Gore, Big John Thompson, Goose Creek Symphony and the Chairman of the Board just to name a few. They are an energetic ensemble armed with an ever-expanding song list that spans the gamut from funk, R&B, jazz and soul to country, southern rock and bluegrass, each song played true to the idiom, no fluff.
With an elasticity which allows them to switch between the soft and subtle dinner jazz set to infectious, high-energy funk, heart-wrenching country or even contemporary pop, The Common Clay Band is capable of providing a rich and entertaining experience for any occasion or event.
