Biography: Chris Parrello Jazz
Chris Parrello is a New York based guitarist/composer who has been professionally performing and recording since the age of fourteen. He has graced the stage at word famous venues such as The Blue Note, Birdland, and Dizzy's Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center, and has performed along side luminaries such as Bob Mintzer, Michael Wolff, Robin Eubanks, Dave Samuels, and Aaron Scott. His trios have been featured for years as part of the prestigious guitar series at The Bar Next Door at La Lanterna, his quintet recently performed at New York's world famous Joe's Pub, and in January, as part of a duo with vocalist Karlie Bruce, he opened for world famous pianist Brad Mehldau. Chris has been published in Just Jazz Guitar Magazine, and in 2006 was awarded the Brunswick Award for composition. He holds a Bachelors in Jazz Guitar from Oberlin Conservatory and a Masters in Jazz Guitar from The City College of New York.
